Your GP or other health professional at the practice may decide that one or more tests are necessary as part of your care. The need for such test(s) will be discussed and agreed with you, and your consent obtained. You will be advised when and where you should attend for such test(s). This may be at the surgery or at the hospital.
Test results will be available in your health record. You can view your health record using the NHS App (accessible via browser HERE or via the NHS App on your smart phone).
Once the health professional who ordered the tests has had the opportunity to review the results, you will be contacted if a follow up consultation is required.
After your test(s), the time taken before your result(s) are available will vary. Some results may be available in your record before others.
