How long before your medication(s) will be ready for you to collect depends on the service provided by your chosen pharmacy.

♦ If you do not nominate a pharmacy and wish to collect a paper printout of a repeat prescription and take it yourself to a pharmacy for them to dispense, a paper prescription - with a barcode printed on it - will we available to collect from your usual surgery within 48 hours of the practice receiving your request (not including weekends or bank holidays). If we have a mobile telephone number on record for you, we will send a TEXT message when your paper prescription is ready for collection. Note: If you use the NHS App and have not nominated a pharmacy, your NHS App will show a barcode which you can take to your chosen pharmacy instead of collecting and taking a paper prescription.
