Background
The Trent View Medical Practice GMS (General Medical Services*) practice was first established in the 1960s, operating from practice-owned premises.
In 2021 Trent View Medical Practice was acquired by Riverside Surgery. Although manged by Riverside Surgery, Trent View Medical Practice retains its own identity and patient base. Both Riverside and Trent View continue to operate under separate NHS GMS contracts.
Riverside Surgery is contracted to deliver Primary Health Care services to two individually named and NHS registered practices - Trent View Medical Practice (B81065) and Riverside Surgery (B81109). As a Trent View patient, you may be offered access to appointments and services at Riverside Surgery. Both practices are managed, structured, and organised to deliver maximum service, quality and efficiency equally across the five sites:
3 x Trent View Medical Practice (B81065) - Crowle, Keadby, Skippingdale
2 x Riverside Surgery (B81109) - Brigg, Broughton
The Trent View Medical Practice has approximately 11,250 registered patients and is part of the NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care System (ICS). The area served includes both rural and urban areas. Our patient population has higher than the national average of elderly patients.
Both Trent View Medical Practice and Riverside Surgery are part of the North Lincolnshire East PCN
*General medical services (GMS) is the range of healthcare that is provided by general practitioners (GPs or family doctors) as part of the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom. The NHS specifies what GPs, as independent contractors, are expected to do and provides funding for this work through arrangements known as the General Medical Services Contract. |
General
Trent View Medical Practice offers services at three sites on the western side of North Lincolnshire and straddling the River Trent. The main site is in Keadby, with additional sites in Crowle and Skippingdale. Keady and Crowle sites are on the West of the River Trent and Skippingdale on the East of the river. See map of practice area boundary HERE.
The Keadby and Crowle sites each have their own dispensary within the building. Patients who live more than one mile from a pharmacy or chemist are eligible to have their prescriptions prepared by our on-site dispensary teams. We also operate a medicines home delivery service.
Trent View Medical Practice works closely with other GP practices as part of the North Lincolnshire East Area Primary Care Network (PCN). Some patient services are provided at locations across the East Area PCN. If you have difficulty accessing such services, please contact us.
Our Staff
Services are provided by a wide range of qualified and experienced health professionals (for example GPs, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists, and Pharmacists), supported by a professional management and administrative team.
When you contact the practice, whether online, by telephone, or in person, one of our team of Care Navigators will help guide and offer access to the right health professional from within our team. The right health professional may not always be a GP.
The practice's Urgent Care Service is designed to enable patients to contact the surgery at any time from 8:00am to 6:30pm on any working day and, if urgent, get a consultation with an appropriate health professional that same day or, if not-urgent, be offered an appointment on a future date.
